GH2 was selected by the Oklahoma State Department of Health to provide professional planning and design services for a variety of projects at their existing facility, located in Oklahoma City. The initial phase of services included a complete analysis of space needs at the facility, for all departments and support services. GH2 prepared drawings of the existing facility, conducted user interviews, and provided recommendations and project scenarios for various renovations and additions to the existing facility.

The master plan ultimately includes the addition of approximately 60,000 square feet of new office space. GH2 designed Phase I of the project, which included a multi-use meeting facility for workgroups and conferences. In addition, GH2 has completed several renovations projects at the main facility, including the health laboratory, vital records storage and bio-safety level III laboratory.
