Verdigris Football and Baseball Fields

GH2 designed and coordinated the installation of the new synthetic turf fields at the Verdigris High School football and baseball stadiums. Verdigris selected synthetic turf to provide a safe and beautiful athletic surface for the near year-round use by their highly successful sports programs.

The installed football turf product, Classic HD by FieldTurf, is the same product installed at elite athletic facilities such as University of Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium and the Detroit Lions' Ford Field. Likewise, the baseball turf product, DoublePlay by FieldTurf, was the choice of the two-time World Series Champion Miami Marlins. Notable features of the fields include custom logos, and a flow-through drainage system in which water permeates the field surface (turf backing is 40% porous) and enters an engineered subsurface system of clean aggregate and perforated pipe.
