Fire Stations
GH2 has designed several municipal fire stations projects. Our services include facility assessments, renovation studies, renovation design and design for new construction. The new Tahlequah Fire Station No. 2 is 5,200 square foot facility and includes 4 private sleeping rooms, bathing facilities, living area and kitchen. The garage area has two drive-through bays to accommodate four vehicles as well as storage areas.
GH2 provided programming, estimating and conceptual design services for a new fire station for the Verdigris, Oklahoma Fire Protection District. The conceptual design includes 6 drive-through large vehicle bays, office suite with full kitchen and training room, and a dormitory with sleeping rooms, day room, and support facilities. GH2 provided architectural services for the assessment and renovation of four City of Tulsa fire stations. The scope of services included detailed field investigations, cost estimates, design services, and support during bidding and construction.
We worked closely with fire department personnel to tailor cost effective and functional design solutions for these projects.
