Animal Welfare Facilities

GH2 has extensive experience with animal facilities of all types. We know how to design innovative, sustainable and cost-effective animal welfare facilities on schedule and on budget. Our familiarity with design issues such as cross-contamination, ventilation, sanitation, material selections, traffic flow and staff and patient safety provide a valuable background for design. Function, flow, and efficient layout are critical components to the success of all animal welfare facilities.

The new Pampa Animal Welfare facility includes volunteer and community outreach program spaces, such as a multi-purpose community room and adoption center with both indoor and outdoor get-acquainted areas, as well as a large dog park. In addition, the facility contains staff and volunteer offices and workrooms, 50 canine indoor kennels, 52 feline cat cottages, a common cattery, storage and support spaces, a temperament assessment area, euthanasia suite, and a sally port. This facility is an inviting, safe, efficient and healthy environment for the animals, staff, volunteers and community with the ability for future expansion.
