OKLAHOMA STATE FAIR PARK

GH2 provided architectural design services for the 2005-2009 Centennial redevelopment effort at the Oklahoma State Fair Park as a consultant to Frankfort Short Bruza, Inc. The redevelopment encompasses 240-acres and nearly two million square feet of existing multi-use exhibit buildings, event arenas, horse and livestock barns, service facilities, offices, and miscellaneous venues. The Oklahoma City State Fair Park is the "Horse Show Capital of the World."
A summary of the project is as follows: complete redevelopment and consolidation of more than 40 years of utility infrastructure additions; redevelopment of the surface infrastructure; renovations to the air-supported International Building; renovations and additions to the Norick Arena; interior/exterior renovation of the equine facilities; and approximately 700,000 square feet of new facilities. New facilities include: exhibit building, show arena, auction/presentation pavilion, restaurant, regular barns and SuperBarns.
