JENKS MATH AND SCIENCE CENTER

This award-winning 90,000+ square foot Math and Science facility is located in the center of the main campus at Jenks High School. Designed by GH2 Architects, LLC and TMP Architecture, Inc., this cutting-edge teaching facility was certified LEED Gold by the USGBC. The project integrates the latest sustainable design strategies and high performance building systems into the visible architecture of the building. As a result, the facility will be used as an active teaching tool.
The program includes ten math studios and fourteen flexible science teaching studios, supported by large teacher collaboration suites. The layout allows direct access between science labs and math studios to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration by students and faculty. The facility also includes a state-of-the-art planetarium, student exhibition space and a large multi-purpose presentation hall. These spaces can accommodate a variety of conferences, math and science fairs, exhibitions and community events.
